Request from Lewtrenchard PCC for Sunday 18 Feb

SBG CENTENARY 2024 – request from St Peter’s PCC
We are planning a static display to be shown at St Peter’s from February 18th 3pm Evensong, Cream Tea and talk by Reverend Tanya Hocking-Still, Diocesan Champion for the UKME community on ‘Baring-Gould and the legacy of the Baring’s Bank and the Slave Trade’. We
are requesting the loan of any artefacts people may have in relation to Sabine Baring-Gould, or his family, which we would be able to use/
photocopy for such a display to leave in the Church alongside the boards of the forthcoming SBG events.
If they are very valuable we would like to only photocopy and perhaps arrange for the original documents to be shown at some more suitable
occasion when we would have the manpower for these items to be safely guarded.
Thank you.
